In the village Štefanić, the picturesque hills near Motovun (6 km away) where people traditionally live off of fruit, we decided from the tradition to create something new.
If you visit us, you will find yourself in the heart of our beautiful najvoćerodnijeg end. Why? This is a unique place on earth where continental succeed together varieties (apples, plums, pears ...), Mediterranean varieties (olives, figs, cherries ...) and truffles. It is understandable that the most common fruit ingredients in our gastronomic offer. Not only on the plate, offering fruit and a glass: if you visit us, you will taste one of our local brandy (pear, plum, cherry, herb wine ...), Motovun vineyards from our own production - black (Teran) or white (Malvasia) and a variety of fruit from our orchard.
And when you taste our dishes made from local food production and farming, you will certainly want to visit us again.
In a farm Štefanić cherish the philosophy of slow food - atmosphere, way of preparing and serving food, we adjust the slow enjoyment of meals in a pleasant environment.
Meals prepared by the end of our traditional recipes made from ingredients grown and our economy. So on our menu is represented domestic meat (semi-arid and dry pork: ham, sausages, žlomprt, zarebnjak, bacon, Krvavica ..., domestic fowl: pulaštri - pjetlići, chicken, turkey ...), vegetables (rhizome, leafy, root ...) our own domestic production and fruit prepared in various ways.
We offer refined, with the above, the pasta's own production (frkanci, pasta, gnocchi, taglietalle) and homemade bread.
Particularly interesting are the sweet dishes of local fruit and seasonal dishes from seasonal crops: asparagus, bljušt, hops, dandelion, cikorja, fennel ...
