Rudnik All Barbara

The St. Barbara Mine is located in Rude, a place 5 km southwest of Samobor.
On the renewed tour route, the 350 m long part of the Sv. Trinity and its old unfenced parts. Climbing the stairs through the old excavations of iron ore (siderite), you come to the upper trench Kokel which was excavated more than 3 centuries ago. During the tour, mining is briefly presented as a branch of industry, the rich past and tradition of mining in Rude, as well as geological diversity with visual representations of rocks and minerals.
Uz Rudnik sv. Barbara can also visit the Pukšar mill and taste the specialty of the place - Rudarska greblica - a salty cheesecake. For children's groups we offer various educational workshops, hiking tours, bicycle tours, plays, games, tour of the fire station, beekeeping education, hunting walks, lunch ...
